Listening Sessions: Housing Stabilization Services Benefit

Thank you for your interest in attending a virtual community engagement forum related to improving the Housing Stabilization Services (HSS) benefit.

Included below is more information about what attendees can expect.

What are these forums about?

Based on feedback and experience-sharing that key partners and individuals with lived experience have provided, Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) and Minnesota Housing Financing Agency (MHFA) are partnering to identify and develop improvements to HSS.

DHS and MHFA have partnered with Public Sector Consultants (PSC) and Health Management Associates (HMA), to host these forums.

What will be discussed?

During the forums, PSC and HMA will:

  • Provide an opportunity for you to affirm, revise, and expand the list of HSS’s challenges identified to date
  • Provide you with an opportunity to affirm, revise, and expand the list of HSS’s desired changes identified to date
  • Share with you what the process may look like to request and receive approval to make the desired HSS changes
ASL interpretation and closed captioning will be available at both forums.  Please reach out to Amy Lynch  (alynch@publicsectorconsultants.com) if you plan on utilizing ASL interpretation to aid in our logistics planning for breakout sessions.

Who can participate?

DHS and MHFA want to hear from people impacted by housing challenges, housing and homelessness service providers, and home- and community-based service providers.
