The Capital Area Child Care Coalition (CACCC) is pleased to present a three-part learning series for child care business owners and nonprofit providers in Ingham, Eaton, and Clinton Counties. These sessions will focus on supporting child care professionals to build a brand that will help them share their unique story and pursue funding opportunities for their businesses. Each session will include the insight and support of regional experts to help you build a brand  appealing to both parents and providers.

The sessions will be available live and will be recorded to access asynchronously,

  • Session 1: Getting Investment Ready
    • This session will prime child care business owners in Ingham, Eaton, and Clinton Counties on the basics of diversifying funding to sustain their child care businesses, including applying for grants and other business funding opportunities.
    • This session will be hybrid, with 15 slots available for providers to attend in person. An in-person networking hour with the speaker, Cyrina Thomas, is available directly after the session. A virtual option via Zoom is also available for the learning session itself.
  • Session 2: Local Resources and Partners
    • This session will teach providers about the regional resources available to them and how to leverage those resources to find support and tell your unique story.

  • Session 3: Marketing and Branding
    • This session will help providers build foundational marketing and branding skills tailored to small and growing programs.
    • Virtual only
